About this collection

The collection of national periodicals (47 titles) contains printed publications that have been included in the Register of the National Programme „Memory of Moldova”. These publications are the most requested by the users. These documents are very fragile and therefore are being preserved and held at the National Library of Moldova. The collection includes scientific and clerical magazines, other periodicals, which contain important information regarding the historical rebuilding of the social, economic and cultural life of Moldova. The collection spans the period from 1867 until1945. Most periodicals are in the Romanian language.
