About this collection

The collection includes postcards that show images of the old city Chisinau – the capital of the Republic of Moldova. There are 36 postcards, published by the Publishing House A. Wolkenberg, who held the monopoly over the publication of graphic documents in the territory during the period of breaking new ground (1883-1900) and until the 1920's.
